Mission
We, the Huntingdon College Interfraternity Council, acting as represenatives of member fraternities, establish this body to promote effective leadership within the fraternity system; to promote philanthropic endeavors; to encourage strong brotherhood within the member chapters; and to build cooperative interaction among individual chapters. The Council acts to govern the actions of member fraternities for the betterment of the Greek system and submits its purpose to the contribution of furthering Huntingdon College's stated mission.

To promote effective leadership
The IFC currently has men engaged on campus as SGA Execuitive Officers, Varsity athletes, Huntingdon Hosts, and Campus Ministries leaders (to name a few.) We activiely encourage our members to be egnaged outside of the fraternity and build their leadership skills through available outlets offered by the College. |

To promote philanthropic endeavors
As a fraternity man, our IFC promotes giving back to the community through both service hours and philanthropy events. Collectively as a Greek community we have completed 4,264 service hours and donated $8,758.00 to charitable organizations in 2011. |

To encourage strong brotherhood
Being in a fraternity is a lifetime experience. The IFC tries to encourage strong brotherhood that will exceed college years and continue throughout adulthood. Through various events such as Mock Rock held during Greek Week, the IFC provides member chapters with opportunities to build their brotherhood within the chapter. |

To build cooperative interaction
Greek unity is especially important to the Huntingdon College Greek community. As a fraternity man you are part of one of the largest student groups on campus. Together Greeks are a quantity of quality. From tailgating at football games to coordinating with the sororities to participate in a service event, working together is essential to the success of our council and member chapters. |
